MOVIE TIME

It was really cloudy and gray for my walk this morning so I didn’t find many photo-ops but I did want to share a couple of photos I took earlier.

Saturday my wife spotted this “Rainbow Spiderweb” and wondered if I could take a picture of it. “Of course I can”!

It didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped but at least it gives you a good idea as to the beauty she saw.

Last night the full moon was beckoning to have its picture taken so I obliged.

This morning I walked around Pennington Loop which is very residential and wooded. That combination does not generally make for great photos but this group of plants caught my eye. I don’t know what they are and I like the old split rail fence running along behind.

And now for the “Movie”. This past weekend my friend Bill Schaub visited our wee island town coming all the way from Dublin! Dublin, California that is 😉

He has really gotten into quad-copters and has a very nice DJI model with a GoPro camera mounted on a gimbal. I took him around Coupeville and Fort Casey to capture some of the area. After we were done shooting I edited it down into this video. I hope you enjoy the little tour of Central Whidbey Island. Just click on the photo below.

Have a great week ahead and don’t work too hard 🙂

    Hi Ken
My Christmas list is filling up fast after looking at the link above!!! Thank you so much…

FYI… across the sound in Victoria is ACDSee… I like their image/video management software package:
(am unsure how to enter a hyperlink, but here you go, copy and paste…)

Are you using the Adobe Premier CC monthly package or is there a stand alone download available???

Again, fun to see your fun stuff… thanks again

    • The ACDSee looks like pretty nice software especially for the price.
I use the purchased version of Adobe Premier. I use Lightroom and Photoshop CC for my photo editing. I thought the Premier monthly pricing was a little steep.

  4. and BTW, just what is the music… very nice

    doesn’t sound like your band…???!!!

Video editing is another whole huge learning curve for sure…

    Saludos
DenverDave… how the heck does one insert an image in the comments area?
