ONE DOOR AND NOTHING MORE

I’ll let you in on a little secret. While I’m on my morning walks I try to think of a title for my blog based on a photo or series of photos I’ve taken. This morning it was pretty dark and there weren’t a lot of photo opportunities. This door caught my attention and thought I’d probably not find anything else of interest, hence “One Door and Nothing More”. I don’t know if I would trick-or-treat at this house, especially if it were dark out.

But I did find a couple more interesting things to record.

A definite sign of changing seasons is when the mooring bouy’s are brought to the dock. These are mooring bouy’s for travelers who boat to Coupeville for a visit and like “swinging on a hook”, so to speak. The winter storms generally include lots of wind and while we still have boaters visit they generally tie to the dock.

Finally another Haunting of Coupeville decoration. This one is at the old “Haller House“. If you’re interested in some good history of Coupeville and the Haller House check out the story HERE.

I hope you have a grand week and come walk with me on the days it doesn’t rain. I don’t like walking in the rain and neither does my camera!
