Like most people on the west coast we’ve been getting slammed with the “Pineapple Express” river of rain and wind. This morning looked threatening when I left the house in the dark but by the time I got out to Ebey Prairie I found beautiful sunrise mixed in with the angry skies. I hope you like what I saw and photographed.
I really liked the silhouette of the trees in these next two photos.
Heading back home I couldn’t help but notice how high the tide was this morning. The wharf appeared to be floating on the Penn Cove. It just a good deal that the wind wasn’t blowing waves up onto the wharf.
Looking back at town from the Coupeville Wharf I could still see angry skies. It was a great contrast to the colorful buildings along Front Street.
It’s hard to say at this point how the day will actually turn out but for now all is calm and quiet.
Have a great week ahead and thanks for walking with me around the wee town of Coupeville.
Monet-like photographs this morning Kenny. I especially like the one of the Wharf with the dark clouds in the distance. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to your photos each time you send them.

Thanks Mike, I enjoy hearing from you as well. Thanks also for the nice comments!
I really liked the 2nd picture with tree silhouetted and the sun peeking on the horizon. Here in Leduc, AB it is overcast and cold about -14 Celsius
Yep, I like that one as well. I really like bare winter trees silhouetted against the sky.
Thanks for the comments.
Sorry about the pulled muscle. and Thanks for the beautiful sunrise. My Dad used to take pictures of Sunsets and Sunrises so when I see these beautiful ones you post it reminds me of him. Thanks again.
I’m glad I was able to conjure up some good memories. Also, thanks for your concern, I’ll be just fine as soon as it settles down.
