Hey fellow walkers and gawkers, here I am. You probably thought I forgot about you but that’s just not true.
I’ve been walking a lot everyday but not around town. Instead I’ve been behind a wheelbarrow moving dirt, fine bark and plants into our back yard.
We used to have a nice big fish pond with many Koi and Goldfish. Unfortunately we got tired of feeding the heron and raccoon’s so we decommissioned our pond, filled it in and turned it into a beautiful flower garden.
We still have a little bit more to do but this photo will give you an idea of what we’ve done. The plants that are still in pots will be planted after the house gets painted and some of them will live in pots until fall.
Hopefully I’ll get back to walking and taking photos soon but for now I think I’ll just sit here and enjoy the view. I’ll catch up with all of you next week.
Beautiful! Although I’m sure “Frank” does not approve.
“Frank” has not been happy for quite some time and the raccoon’s have stopped coming around as well. Now we’re getting hummingbirds and butterflies 🙂
Your yard garden looks great, Ken. I’m I’m impressed!
Steve
Thanks Steve. I assume that a double “I’m” means you are “Really, REALLY” impressed 🙂
Thanks for the posting. I wondered what happened. Perhaps you could post some before and after photos if you have before pic’s. I think we would all enjoy that. Right now the after is looking good.
Thanks Hellen, I’ll see what I can find.
