This morning’s walk was very nice but kind of disappointing in the photo department. It looked like the sunrise was going to pop but then it did pop, just like a balloon. The lighting was poor so not a lot to share but here’s my Monday offering just the same.
There seems to be a lot of anger and rage among the people of the United States these days. I’m really getting tired of it and so I offer this as a suggestion.
Even though early January was rather chilly around here, the month is ending with Daffodil’s popping up from the ground, oh boy!
There is a group, “Whidbey Island Rocks” on Facebook, that paint rocks and places them around the island. Coupeville is no exception and this morning I discovered this rock painted by LJK on October of 2016. It was on the trail that goes through Kruger Woods. Their Facebook page says that you can either keep the rock or put it somewhere else for others to enjoy. I took the rock and will place it in a different location in a few weeks. If you live in, or visit Coupeville, be on the lookout for this one.
Thank you for walking with me on this rather gray morning but I wish you sunshine for the week ahead!
another intriguing walk & appropriate commentary, Ken! Thanks for that day-brightening. Steve

Thanks Steve, I’m glad you approve and it brightened your day.
This is a blog from our Whidbey Island area. The new daffodils made me joyful, and I thought you might enjoy seeing them!
