What better way to start the day than with a nice four mile walk around Coupeville. So get your shoes on and let’s go!
I spotted this boathouse at the bottom of a cliff by Penn Cove. I liked all the nautical stuff they’ve attached to the outside. My camera was zoomed all the way in to get this photo.
I’ve taken a number of photos of this old Walnut tree but I thought with the dramatic sky it would make a nice silhouette and it certainly did. Captain Thomas Coupe, the namesake of Coupeville, and his wife Maria lived in the house you can just barely see at the bottom of this photo. Maria planted this walnut tree in the mid 1850’s.
I don’t do a lot of panorama’s but the dramatic sky this morning was begging for it. This is looking north across Penn Cove.
Thanks for joining me on this beautiful hump day! I hope to walk with you again soon.
