I didn’t walk yesterday because we had a dusting of snow and slush. It continued, off and on, all morning.
This morning it looked threatening and was 36 degrees F again but I went for it and I’m glad I did. The sky was like this all the way around Coupeville but blue skies and sunshine on our wee town.
Despite the snow and cold there are definite signs of spring such as this budding Pussy Willow Tree.
Another sign of spring is the spring cleaning going on around town evidenced here by the pressure washing of the boat dock at the Coupeville Wharf. You can see where he’s already cleaned the far side and it looks great! I’m sure they are getting it ready for Penn Cove MusselFest – Coupeville’s March tradition. It’s going to happen next weekend, ya’ll come!
Now onward to the weekend which I hope will be fun for everyone. Thanks for walking with me this week and I’ll be back next week!
