It’s Monday and you know what that means, get your shoes on and let’s go for a nice long walk. How about 4.6 miles?
I decided to cut through Krueger Woods named after the Krueger family that owned it and their farm. It’s a heavily wooded little forest right in the town of Coupeville. Here’s a Google Map with the woods outlined in red.
Here’s a tiny bit of the trail. It is so peaceful and quite in there you feel like you’re in a secluded area in the mountains.
Out on the Coupeville Wharf I spotted a new whale wood carving and bell. It is very well done and looks out over Penn Cove where whales have been spotted. If you see a whale, “Ring The Bell”!
And finally, this tiny “speck” on the horizon caught my eye. I zoomed in as far as my camera could zoom and captured this sailboat out on the high seas. I wonder where they were off to so early in the morning.
I hope the week ahead is good for you and we can get in a few nice walks before it’s over.
