This morning I walked 4.65 miles out to the Ebey Prairie Reserve and back. Along the way I spotted another defibrillator. This one is located right at the front door of the Prairie Center, Red Apple grocery store. I think it’s important to know where these are located, just in case…
A little further out I spotted these pumpkins, WHAT? I thought pumpkins knew the seasons better than this. October is still a long way away!
If you like blueberries you can get all you can eat along Black Road. These wild blueberry bushes are really producing and you could fill up a bucket in a very short amount of time.
And now the frosting on the cake. I watched the sun break just over the trees and slowly rise. Quite often it goes from a first bright red to a very bright yellow before it gets higher above the trees. This morning it stayed red for the longest time. I just kept taking photos and of all I took I liked this one the best.
The farmhouse and trees lining the edge of the prairie made for a nice contrast.
I hope you enjoyed that walk and I didn’t tire you out 🙂 Have a great day and will see you again soon.
Those wild blueberries are Oregon Grapes. A far cry from blueberries 🙂
Dang, I guess I should have tasted one. They sure did look like blueberries to me. I guess I should have asked my wife first as she knows all about that stuff. I, on the other hand, obviously don’t 😦
Thanks Carmen
You nailed it again with your sunrise picture. Very nice. Also I thought those looked like grapes to me as well just by the clusters.
