This morning I headed out the door early because I could see that there was a spectacular sunrise about to happen. There were lots of interesting clouds and with the forest fires in Eastern Washington it should be fantastic.
I walked really fast out to the Ebey Prairie to be in position for it to happen. Along the way I spotted this bank of tule fog behind this beautiful farm. The trees kind of look like they are on an island.
An then it started to happen! I caught it at it’s peak which kind of fizzled. I did manage to get a nice photo but not what I was expecting.
On my way back home I got one last peek at the waning sunrise. I spotted these clouds with the highlighted edges that only lasted for about thirty seconds. I think it’s at least interesting.
And that’s all I got for a three mile walk. Thanks for joining me and hopefully we’ll do it again tomorrow!
