7:05am SUNRISE – March 10, 2015

Sorry for the short hiatus but I’ve been getting up in the mornings and working really hard on my 1960 Sunbeam, Series I, Alpine. I’ve pulled the entire steering system along with the crossmember off. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it.

With the Daylight Savings Time change I’m now thrown back into the dark. Combine that with a heavy cloud cover and it makes picture taking difficult.

I decided this morning that I would walk until the official sunrise at 7:05am and take a photo of it no matter what it looked like so here you go.

Hopefully that will give you an idea of what I’m up against.

Back in Coupeville, above the Wharf, I spotted these tiny blue flowers which I think are a weed and thought they contrasted nicely with the red wharf building.

Right at the beginning of the ramp to the wharf is a sign from last weekends MusselFest. I cleared out the holes so you can put your face in there like I did with the top one.

One of Coupeville’s historic places got a new sign last week. It’s the “Col. Granville and Henrietta Haller house” built in 1866. It’s not open to the public yet but they are raising money to make it so everyone can enjoy it. I really am looking forward to that.

Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks for walking with me this morning, I’ve really been missing our daily walks.
